What the heck does this mean? I am American and was watching a British show recently where they used this term. Is it like a lawn sale in your trunk?

It is an established discovery in last 10 years.
Is it Physics, molecular Biology , \Genetics or what.
U need updated references, since as with all discoveries ther are contrarians.
I can refer to an advanced science journal `Nature', which can be accessed in a good library, in case you are really interested. No guesses please.

I have a 15 week old Chihuahua, who recently developed an inflammed rash on the inside of both ears, from ear canal to tip of ear. There is no odor or discharge coming from her ears. She also has a rash behind her ears. It is very itchy,so I called my vet, and she says it sounds like some type of allergy, and before I take her in, to try some Benedryl Cream. What I'm worried about is, after I apply it, if she scratches and gets some on her paw and licks it off, or gets any of it in her eye, or if one of my other dogs licks it grooming her, that ingesting even a little through licking, it might do harm. I'd like a second opinion about the Benedryl Cream or any suggestions of other things I can use to help relieve her discomfort. I feel so bad for her. Do you have any idea what might be causing this? I also heard that Mineral Oil might soothe the rashes. She's on the same puppy food she's been on since weaning. Can she suddenly develop an allergy to that, and if so how can I tell?

than adopt them out? My last question was one of anger after attempting to 'rescue' several dogs. After reading the numerous responses from others that are angry over the 'strict' rules to adopt an animal.....it appears to me that they would rather put the animal down than to adopt them out. This could only be for one reason....for the money donated and acquired from any government funding..........>>> If you have time, please read my last question about my adoption attempt and all the responses from others that have had problems for ridiculous reasons. Thanks.

I once had a leather jacket that got ruined in the rain. Now why does moisture ruin leather? Aren't cows outside a lot of the time?
When it's raining, do cows go up to the farmhouse, "Let us in! We're all wearing leather! Open the door! We're going to ruin the whole outfit here!"
"Is it suede?"
"I am suede! The whole thing is suede! I can't have this cleaned...It's all I got!"

I know that they're just trying to empower women, but by doing so, they are also discriminating against men, i think. I have nothing against women (i am one) but i think its a thought to ponder.

I've wonderd about this, but I'm not convinced as of yet.
What I mean is, drawing it one way in the East, and another in the West,
like representing Yin and Yang? Maculine and feminine.
Personally I don't think that's what they represent. I think they show either the Creative aspect of things or Destructive. Clockwise and counter-clockwise.
