Yeah, it's sold out everywhere. If you really want one before the end of the year, you'll have to find out when your local store will have it in their ad (probably on a sunday), and then get in line at least 4 hours before they open that day. I waited 6 hours for mine but it was totally worth it.

Sold out on shops and shops online. If you were a little quicker, Gamestop/Ebgames had the Wii available for purchase online, but of course, you had to spend almost 700 bucks because it's the bundle package.
As for stores, where were you on Wednesday, Dec. 6th? Walmart had them for sale. What about Nov. 26? Best Buy had it for sale. Dec. 3? Circuit City had it for sale.
Where will you be Dec. 10th? I believe Circuit City, Target, and Toys R Us will have them for sale. I would buy the Sunday paper on Saturday as soon as possible and check through the ads to see if any stores are advertising for it.
Dec. 12th might be the next day when there will be huge shipments of Wii.

they are on ebay for extortionate amounts (up to 800 quid)
i would say sleep in a tent outside a shop and try to get one of the next batch, which should be in the shops next Saturday, only problem is, some of the preorders still need to be fulfilled so it will be difficult to get hold of 1, especially if you were at my local PC World yesterday when the absolutely amazing total of 2 preorders were fulfilled - I was 3rd on the list - GUTTED!
