K well i really like this guy ..i dont even know him and i havnt talked to him yet because i am at a new thing and iv only been like 3 times weekly..at the start of it he wasnt siting beside me . cus i was across the room..an he was at the other side of his section now that im over there he sits beside me ..somehow dont ask..but ye i really just wana be his friend and share stuff with him..i dont needa go out with him straight away you no...just any tips?!xxthank you

One of the lights in my dashboard came on, the light is located on the left hand side, the light was a red box with liquid image and an arrow pointing down? Does anyone know what this image means (beyond that I'm low on something.) and/or does anyone know how to look at the car manual on-line? I'm trying to save $ by not going to the dealer.

AIDS killed about 13,000 Americans last year. Cancer killed about 500,000. AIDS is 100% preventable by personal responsibility. Cancer is not preventable (with minor exceptions).
Yet AIDS gets far more attention from liberal "do-gooders" who are obviously NOT concerned with helping humanity, but only with their own image by attaching to whatever cause is "trendy" and popular.
It disgusts me.
Anyone who does NOT acknowledge that personal responsibility is the #1 way to stop AIDS is actually hurting humanity and is not truly concerned with helping people.
Let's stop diverting disproportionate amounts of funding & effort to AIDS, an easily preventable condition, and instead use it to help cancer & heart disease victims, who are the TRUE victims.

I would like to know people's opinion on this situation...

This morning, I went into the garage to get my shoes and the garage door was left open all night. My wife and her sister were the last ones to come in after some late night shopping. All the kids were in bed, even myself. I immediately told them that they had left the garage door open all night and left the garage door open to prove it. They told me that they were sure the garage door was closed because they had watched it close because they wanted to make sure it would close behind one of our cars. I checked the doors, they were locked. I checked our cars outside that have remotes and they are locked. Logically it didn't make any sense, but due to them defending themselves and me raising my voice to tell them it didn't make sense it was not a win/win situation. Would have it been easier for them to say it was their fault, since they were the last with no explanation or do you continue to defend your statement?

I am 22 yrs old, the eldest of 4 children. Throughout my whole life I have watched my father verbally and mentally abuse my mother (and at times my siblings and I). He calls her horrible names, and puts her down. I feel angry, just watching her completely helpless. I am not siding with my mother; I try to look at the situation as objectively as possible. He twists everything around she does and says to make her seem like a horrible person, and that he is the one suffering. For example; he tells her that she yells, but in reality she does not. He yells when someone does or says one little thing he does not like. I watch him "attach" her for no reason at all. I have observed that he acts as though he is in charge, and it does not matter what anyone else thinks or feels. Only his feelings seem to matter. I believe he is insecure and does this to feel superior. I am tired of him treating my mother this way. I have tried to confront my father before, but then I get it too. Any suggestions?

OK so here's the deal. I don't like dragons. I don't like the idea of putting oriental characters on me, because I'm white and have no oriental blood in me whatsoever. I'm part irish, so celtic tribal might be ok... but that seems a little played out. I don't like little girly things like hearts and butterflies. I don't want a tramp stamp. I'm 19. I like the idea of a tattoo, but I never seem to be able to figure out a design I'd like. I once wanted a very small (we're talking tiny) frog on the nape of my neck, but I outgrew that and it turns out they don't do tattoos that small anyway. Ideas, anyone? I understand that I ultimately have to pick something that means something to me, but I'm running short of ideas. And I've been through tons and tons of pictures on google searches, to no avail.

all these offers of full compensation for injuries, they may sound good but thats what is agreed between the lawyers from both sides after sitting down for a meal or drinks the deciding what you get, of corse you get all that they decide then agree a fat fee for each other which is as much and mainly more than you get. unfair and unethical I think.

in the wrong one. But I've always wondered what started the great depression. I know the stock market fell. That means prices went down, right? (I wish gas prices would go down) but at any rate, does anyone know what caused the market to fall? Was it a rumor about bad bananas (LO!!)?
