There are many semi pro leagues and arena teams that hire everyday joe's like yourself to play. Look into teams in your area...you might even just find a regular league to play on. You don't always get paid...but that isn't why you want to play anyway is it?
If you want to get paid...look online for the open tryouts of these semi pro teams, and find out about the NFL combine.

Well they do attend classes and do things just as any other student would. They get breaks on papers if they have to leave for a game early and they have a lot of help by people making sure they get done what needs to be done. Also most of the guys paying football go into creampuff majors like Business or something relatively easy to at least get them through college where they don't have to work quite as hard as someone going into microbiology or something like that.

Some states have semi-pro teams and hold tryouts. Around here they have teams that are league teams and they play games. Not for money, but for the fun of playing football. Some of the players are in their middle 40's but love to play. And there is always arena football.

Most Arena football teams hold open tryouts- you could start there. The best arena football players usually get tryouts with NFL teams, and some (Kurt Warner) do really well.

Sometimes there are semi-pro leagues in your area that you can join it's just a matter of finding them. I worked with a guy who was on one of these teams in my area and got a call from the Bengals to join the team and this was around the November time frame 5 years ago.

You could just go to an easy college and play. Colleges have really easy classes as well as hard ones. Junior colleges work too.
Or you could play professionally if there's pro or semi-pro team in your area.
