i installed a chevy motor/trans/transfer case in a jeep. Do I need to usr the constant velocity joints in the drive shafts or can I get away with single u-joints?

it largely depends on your driveshaft angles.if it has a sharp angle (more than 45 degress) youll want to use a cv joint to help with driveline problems,if its a small amount of angle regular u joints should be ok

cv joints and u-joints are completely different...they are not interchangeable....if it's rear wheel drive then you have u-joints...if it's 4 wheel drive you can have either CV shafts to the front wheels or u-joints....depends on the year and type of trans
