ok if sumone offeres u drugs how can u tell them no without losing ur nerves? i've been offered in my school, by sum strangers high schoolers but when i saw drugs i lost my nerves, and i ran away saying no thanks....which i guess wasn't a very bold move....so can u give me sum tips about how to tell them no?

Making a long story short, my co was sold to another co and the close is happening this month and my job will prob be going away in the next 1-3 months, the work routine has become a monotonous practice of not doing much but waiting for the axe (I'm staying with the hope of a nice severance if I get triggered, that's why I'm not leaving yet), I'm single and am having trouble meeting new people, don't keep in touch with my fam, don't have hobbies except for exercising daily. Have a few friends but only see them sometimes on weekends. Basically don't have much of a life and don't know how to get one. The thought of being without a job during the day, on top of already being alone with not much going on, is getting to me. I think about new hobbies but I don't even know what I'd like to get into, and things like guitar and exercising are solitary anyway. What should I do, what would you do? (BTW, I don't need a shrink, I need a life).

I went to a Christian school in Pre-K through the 8th grade.

In the 2nd grade, my now step-mother came into the picture. She wanted me to be taken out of that school, so that I may come up with my opinions by myself, and not to have it shoved down my throat.

Well, she went to go talk to my teacher about how she felt.
What was my teacher's response?
"Oh don't worry, by the time she is in high school, she'll be brainwashed anyway."

That comment really bugs me, is that the way that Christians are? Brain-washing their children into believing everything that the bible says so that they don't know anybetter?

I'm thinking about going to talk to her about it, but I'm still really close with everybody from that school (I'm a freshman now), and I don't want them to all be mad at me. What should I do?

Is it ok if you keep at 99 degrees... considering your normal body temp is 98.6??? Or is it still to dangerous... my back and body are killing me... just wondering b/c it would really help??? But obviously if its not a good idea I wont... but I dont go to doctor until the 19th, of course I will ask him... but just wondering until then... Hi,

I have saved some money, and I could buy a little mobile home... and I am wondering if this is a good idea or not.

Please help me.

Are mobile homes only for poor people?
Is it dangerous to live in a mobile home (I'm a young female)?
Is it really a smart idea financially to buy a mobile home and pay a lot rent (about $200 or $300/month) instead of renting a place for about $500/month?

I was in the mall yesterday and well most of the black men wear their pants REALLY low, but there was this one guy in particular who had them almost down to the floor! i've seen this before. This style does NOT look good i'm sorry it just looks messy, i mean the guy was literally waddling because his pants were so low! me and my husband were laughing at him because of this, we couldn't help it! now i'm not saying ALL black guys because i know i'm going to get a lot of "how dare you generalize" but this is something i see a lot of,i just don't get it, i mean you can't look professional in these clothes, i just don't see how they are functionial, and then i see black guys that dress well and don't have to hold there pants up, so why is this? it looks like a frump fest to me?
i'm 24 by the way i'm not some old granny screaming "these kids nowadays"
