My friend is 22 or 23 & she's going out with a guy that is 17.

Depends what state she lives in . In NY the age for consensual sex is 17 but each state varies .Tell us what state she is from and that will help more!

My brother is 20 and his gf was 17 and her parents liked him and everything. Just because my brother accidentally got her pregnant her parents filed for rape. My brother is spending some years in jail now just because of that. They even had dated for three years and all because he got her pregnant. Your friend could get in really big trouble if they break up and he files for rape. I miss my brother so much just because of that one silly mistake. I won't get to see my brother for 5 years because of that. My brother means the most to me and he promised me a special 18th birthday. He said we were going to spend the whole day together and go out and go skydiving and everything else and all because of this girl i don't get to

In most states, he is a minor and yes, she could be in big trouble with the law.

yes she could get in trouble IF he charged her with rape... like go to jail trouble or he could sue her or something along those lines!! and it is against the law in most places!

Yes and no She need to look up the law in that state to see what it say but most no. but as long as no one has a big thing about it like his mom and dad then their is real thing that can happin to her. but she should look stuff up just to be safe

YEA!!! u more advantageous suited believe she receives in a lot of problem because he remains a minor!!! its not good in any respect... perhaps for them... yet i wouldnt positioned up it on yahoo asking about it. perhaps you should take it down...
