Muslim women are individuals, Muslim women are human beings.......
Muslim women are indoctrinated to think men are superior....yeah right, no man is more superior to me! equal footing - yeah I can live with that.
The 'ideal character' if there is such a thing applies to men and women. The ideal character from the teachings of the Quran is that of a good human being.
oh, silly me I forgot women are half of a man, or less than half, in Islam according to some ignorants - forgive me.

I think so......even if there was an "ideal of the perfect Islamic woman," some radical Imam would find a reason to reprimand, punish, and/or beheaded her for something. From what I have seen, Islamic women are not treated too nicely in middle-eastern countries, by Islamic men, although somewhat better in European and other western countries.

If the Bible is our moral guide, then how can it make pornographic statements such as: “...they may eat their own dung and drink their own piss with you” (2 Kings 18:27)? Also consult Numbers 31 where a whole tribe of people, including the elderly and children are slaughtered. The only survivors were the virginal women, who were later raped by the “just and perfect” Moses and his men. Is that what you want your children reading on Sunday?

Basically, I just know that women are treated as a second class within islamic rules,,, just go to the islamic state and see how women are oppressed by the patriarchy rules.

I don't know about Muslim women, but certainly the perfect Christian woman has to be a saint!
Why can't we just be people? After all, men are allowed their little foibles.

as far as i know it would be to hard for non muslims to do what muslim women do. they can not be like muslim women. muslim women get lots of respect from everyone including their husbands. they are kept like jewels. noone can dare touch them inappropriatly. they are looked at with respect and dont get nasty unwanted attention from drugies off the street. they are special and know how to take care of their family/children. they dont let their marriage or family fall apart. and much more. may allah guide us all.
