In NY, what law states vehicle insurance co. can't force you to get work done where they want you to go.?

The insurance company covering a fence painter who's overspray paint went onto my vehicles is trying to force me to get the repair work done at a collision shop of their choice. I am sticking to my guns I know there is a NY state law says I can take it wherever I want to go to have the work done. I need more info on this law.

Trust this guy?

Long story. My male friend of 10 years and I got together whilst he had a girlfriend who he lived with. He split with her, sold the house etc and now we live together which has been great. However, it has came out that he kissed a girl from work behind my back. Says he was drunk, shouldn't have happened etc.

My problem is that I know before me, he cheated lots of times on his ex without having the balls to break up with her and I knew all of this. He kept friends with a lot of the girls he cheated with and I just never expected because of our long friendship, that he would have done anything like that behind my back. This is a guy who has honestly treated me like a princess since we got together.

He is devastated because he knows I have 2 past long term relationships that ended because I was cheated on. I'm angry with him and he is all fussing over me, reassuring me, apologising, trying to make amends etc.

I just wanna know whether anyone thinks this guy deserves my trust?

More than one religion? it must be a lie...?

Doesnt the fact that there is more than one religion (there are quite a lot) kinda prove that they were all just made up? also all the stories about talking animals and 8 legged elephants must be a bit of a giveaway aswell?

Dog's weird habit of dancing around the bowl, sniifing her food, but won't eat.?

My dog has this weird habit of sniifing her food from the bowl, and the n she goes round and round the bowl, but then she doesn't eat the food at all. Can anyone tell me why she does this weird dance? Thanks!

How to invest my savings given these req's?

I have about $100K to invest but I need most if not all of it to remain fairly liquid as it will be needed for a downpayment on a house. I am in limbo with my job and thus am delaying buying a home for now, but that could change at any time over the next few months and I don't want my savings locked away in a mutual fund or CD if I need it quickly. Where should I put the $? Put it all in one thing like a MMF or put it in a couple of different investments? Thanks!
