As a full fledged member of CBOA (cry babies of america) I have to say I take offense at your offending, you offending offender you! LOL.
I think people have taken the pc thing a bit to far. Do we all remember our mother's lesson of "Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me".????
This is a general religeon and spirituality forum, come in here expecting to have folks disagree with ya.
I'm with you...First Amendment provides freedom of religeon, it doesn't offer freedom from it.

I guess it's in the interpretation. When I read "no law respecting extablishment of religion," it looks to me like I have the right to be free from religion according to the Constitution.

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

there is a common debate here in my opinion. we all have free will to either believe or not believe as each sees fit in their own heart as long as one does not interfere with the free will and rights of others or as long as one does not violate the laws rules and mores of the Country in which one resides. each mortal has a right to be respected but others have the right to disagree. have been offended and have offended but this happens even among friends.

Everyone has the choice to refuse to be offended. Too often, we take offense because we lose sight of what is most important in life.
