I am looking for a free website where I can find where my last name comes from. I have no contact wiith my father's side of the family and I am unsure about my heritage. Does anyone know of a website?

Does anyone have them up yet?? There is about 8 houses near me with them up and im dying to put them up... but i think its a little early. I have hung my advent calenders up though.. Thanks

I know you need a mixture of both, but my boyfriend says it's more important to focus on strength training than cardio. He said if I go to the gym for an hour I should do 40 min. of weights and 20 min. of cardio. I usually did the other way around. So which will better help me in my weight loss efforts?

I was in Austin last week and had lunch with a very fascinating and very beautiful woman. She is not even from this country. I can't get her out of my mind and only talked to her serveral times. I am not sure how long she will be here but I would like to pursue this futher.

Was the elimination of the draft back in '74 the next logical step our govt. had to take to enable them to justify/conduct unpopular wars? Doesn't having a 'volunteer' force really mean that a smaller demographic(though not necessarily poor)will enlist....and therefore make it easier to sway public opinion since more Americans will be 'disconnected' from the reality of war?

Okay, firstly this is a practice exam question I've been set and is due for tomorrow and I'm nearly finished but I'm not sure whether I should be writing about an industry, e.g. the car manufacturing industry, or an individual country, e.g. Taiwan. I know this is a trivial question and you'll probably think reading this has been a waste of life but I'm not sure which I'm meant to write about my instinct is to write about the changes in the structure and location of the car manufacturing industry, but again, I'm not sure. We are in a small town, kinda' new, and my son is 12yr. The other parents here say the kid he hangs out with I shouldn't let him see, it's his best friend, and I haven't caught them doing anything, I get scared my mom and my best friend will find out I let them play together and get lectured, If I feel my son is safe, isn't it my decision that counts?
