Parents seem to be more protective of their children and other people's children, is this because of the media attention to child sex crimes and abductions?

An 80-year-old man went to his doctor for his quarterly check-up. The doctor asked him how he was feeling and the 80-year-old said "Things are great and I've never felt better. I now have a 20 year-old bride who is pregnant with my child. So what do you think about that?"

The doctor considered his question for a minute and then began to tell a story. "I have an older friend, much like you, who is an avid hunter and never misses a season. One day when he was setting off hunting, he was in a bit of a hurry and accidentally picked up his walking cane instead of his gun. As he neared a lake he came across a very large male beaver sitting at the water's edge. He realized he'd left his gun at home and so couldn't shoot the magnificent creature but out of habit he raised his cane, aimed it at the animal as if it were his favorite hunting rifle and went 'bang, bang'. Miraculously, two shots rang out and the beaver fell over dead. Now, what do you think of that?" asked the doctor.

The 80-year-old said, "If you ask me, I'd say somebody else pumped a couple of rounds into that beaver."

The doctor replied, "My point exactly."

I'm interested in selling either or both and I notice the avon books have some mark products in them. If I sign up to sell mark can I sell avon products as well?

To me it seems cheaper to sign up for avon ($10) and mark is $20. Why the difference?

I was just recently looking over a few pictures of myself of when I was a child (around 5-7 years-old), I am an 18 year-old male now... and I noticed that I had a white skin tone back then. Now at this time my skin tone is a brown-ish tan color (even in the winter) which struck me as really odd (yes I didn't think my skin color was different as a child, lol) Any reasons as to why my skin color changed? Was it cause I was really active in the sun as a I grew older?

I know this is a random question but it was bothering me lol

Hi,

I would like to know, are there any churches or religious places, having their own parking garage buildings. I dont see any such. Are there any restrictions - religious or city permits, for not having a parking garages of their own. Sometimes the church/religious area is so over parked on the street with no parking garage. Appreciate your comments and/or facts either way.

te my eyes normally as a normal person would, i feel as if it not cracked or anything just feel weird like i strecthed it ..before i used to rotate my eyes, that feeling would never happen to me...and now without my glasses on i have these only headaches that really put pressure on my head..i also feel as if my eyes arent the same as before or not as aligned...can anyone help me out here..

I dream maybe 5-10 times in a year that either one or all of my teeth are loose...or falling out. Its all very sudden. In my dreams I'll be going about me business as usual and then all of sudden I relaize that my teeth are so loose that if i touch them or shut my mouth, they are all going to fall out. I don't think its ever with my top teeth, only the bottum ones. I believe I've had this recurring dream for a few years....maybe longer, maybe since I was small. Its hard to remember. Anyone a dream specialist??

Someone gives you a gift, someone who is close to you and you happen to see them very frequently (their relationship is beyond a simple acquaintance) and you simply dont like the gift for whatever reason (you may hate it, its not your type, its not your size or color liking) and a gift receipt may or may not have been provided (doesn't really matter). Do you kindly thank them and ask them to exchange it or at least let them know it wasnt to ur liking or do u simply throw it in ur closet/drawer and never use/wear it? Take into consideration ofcourse that the person who gave the gift is close to u and may notice that it was never used/worn and may eventually take offense to that. Some may say its the thought that counts and not the gift, and by mentioning that the gift is not to his/her liking may be hurtful and disrespectful to the gift giver but if the gift was given to satisfy the recipient in a way shouldnt it be mentioned? What would you do u in this case?

I don't understand why the government has a right to tell a man or a women what to do with their body? It doesn't make sense to me..the only thing that comes to mind would be the ability for the government to regulate prostitution and accurately collect taxes. I understand alot think it is morally wrong..still what do you think?
