I have pink lips. and blue eyes
my hair is light brown

i wear lip gloss and eye shadows... i just want to know how
people think of me as? at school i wonder if people think like
"wow i wish i was her"

do any of you think that right now? or are you jealous of me?

I hate to break this to you, but having blue eyes and wearing make-up doesn't make you instantly 'popular'. Looks do count a bit I guess, but attitude and personality are top priorties when gaining respect and admiration. Besides, why do you want people to be jealous of you? Wouldn't you rather want people to like you as a friend?

But to answer your question: No, I don't ever wish to be like you or anyone else for that matter. I love my look, my style, and my personality. And I hope that one day you will like your own style. Open your mind, you'll be surprised by the things you will learn.

The people I've known in my life who were most "popular" are the ones who, first of all, don;t care if they're popular. They have too many other things on their mind. They have interests that they pursue other than fashion and social life. They care passionately about things that matter to them, and they spend their time on these things.

In a high school environment, having good looks and athletic prowess, fashion sense and a knack for snappy patter may get a person where they want to be. Afterwards, you need more. You need to have people to trust, and who trust you. You need to have compassion and courage in your dealings with other. You need to care about something beyond yourself enough that you contribute something positive to this world.

It's fun to look good and feel that you're fashionable, but this is such a small part of what it means to be human.

It all sounds nice, but I have no desire to be you, nor am I jealous. I don't know what others think, but most are too involved with things in their own lives to be jealous of anyone else. You really don't need to ask for self assurance, just feel proud of who you are and happy with your own life. It really doesn't matter what others think then.
