Norse religion


The viking gods looked like humans and lived on high in a heaven called Asgard. Here was the residence of many gods, but only one, Odin, ruled over all other gods. he was cunning, wise, and dangerous. Another god, Thor was god of war, rain, and farming. HIs supernatural power made most vikings want to wear a thor's hammer neckless, much as we today might wear a goodluck charm. Other prominents gods include Tyr, trey and balder. SOme of the days of our week are named for norse gods (try's day, Wooden's day, Thor's day) Vikings also believed that eventually there would be twilight of the gods (ragnarok? durring which the world would be destoryed. But before this event took place, the vikings became christianized around 1100. With that change came a whole new set of religious beliefs.

Are there more than one kind of logic? I suppose so, if you consider Boolean logic. Or is that Boolean algebra?

Recently ive lost over 70lbs within the past year. i workout everyday and im also learning how to become healthier and healthier. my problem ive having is that i am so scared to go back to the way i was. i find myself being nervous almost everyday, if i slip up once by eating a simple candy bar, i right away think ill gain all the weight back. normally people who lose as much weight as i have feel wonderful about there accomplishments. I, on the other hand get happy for about 1 full day then get paranoid almost instantly. Whats wrong with me? i was big for 18 years and now that i am finally at a "Normal" weight, i cant seem to enjoy my success. Please HELP

we are 'babysitting' the classroom hamsters for the week and I believe they are from the same litter (I got them for the classroom). Anyways, if they're not siblings, then they are cousins or aunt/nephew relation. ANYWAYS - will siblings mate?

Also, how soon after birth will they mate? these are a few months old. Of course I'm not even sure if they're male and female. Have to do a little hamste exam for that.

The sum of two numbers is 75. The first is 9 more than 5 times the second. Find the first number

I got:

(5x+9)+x=75
6x+9=75
6x = 66
x=11

Whats wrong with it?!??!?

I went to a mall once and found an ingenious cone shaped piece of plastic inside a short wide drum. There was a place to set a coin and it began to drop and it would go around rolling upright, and then began to make it's way to be collected in the drum. Google, msn, wikipedia haven't turned up any results yet. If you know what I'm talking about let me know, and maybe even a company that would sell one or some places that I could look.

I bought The Sims 2 for pc about three years agp when it first came out. When I first installed it it worked but ti was really slow. Then I got a Dell computer and it worked fine bu it crashed alot. Since then it will not install on any of my computers. BUT Bodyshop will..does that make anysense? Should I buy a new opc? A ne game? I have contacted EAGAmes about this countless times, its useless. The same si with my Makin Magic EP. When I install it it erases all my sims I already have on it. And it stops installing at 24,and says theres a sound system error. I have bought every sism game there is, and it sucks becuase half of them don't work.

I normally would say that I think it is not right for kids my age (13), to date. Well, there is this boy I like, who is not super cute or popular, but is very kind and gentle. He makes me feel happy when I am around him, and I feel some chemistry between us. So, he likes(liked) this girl, who is a little bit more popular, and whom I am friends with. He asked her out twice, and she said no both times, and everyone thinks she will always say no. There are rumors because he knows I like him, that he will ask me out soon. I really like him. Was the Civil War fought in most states, or fewer? Certain states, mostly in the south, obviously saw the most battles. But how many states saw battles, and how many did not? By battles, I don't mean some horses were stolen, or a group sabotages or stole some war materiel, or was effected by the war, but some real conflict. i got into a fight about a month ago and the area between my left pinky nuckle and wrist has hurt since. the description is similar to the symptoms of a "boxer's fracture", but i'm almost certain that my hand is not fractured (because the pain is very minimal).....if u have experience with this let me know how long it took your hand to heal and how your hand functions today....thank you
