I am not sure I understand what you mean by adored Him? But, you do not have the power to make God appear, sorry buddy, nevermind in some form you may dictate. We are humans, and God is God.
However, there is one cool thing, he does hear you when you pray, if you believe in him, and his word. He cares about every part of you. That is pretty cool for a god.

He did it many times before man's begging for it. But, most people don't have eyes to see, ears to hear, hearts to feel, minds to conceive, souls to realize.
He is so huge that the hair on His little toe covers the whole Milky Way, how can you see His form! If He reduces his form to your vision and wholly convince you, like Christ convinces Peter, how can you convince other people about that fact?

You cannot "make" God do anything. You can pray and ask Him to reveal Himself to you. God may be revealing Himself to you in ways that your eyes are not open to see, so ask Him to open your eyes to His presence. Read the Bible, pray, and seek fellowship with strong believers and you will surely know Him.
