I am always making lists of some kind such as "things to do today", "songs to download", "gift ideas", "things i need", "things i want", "cute outfits", "things that need to get done this week", etc. What does it mean when you are always writing lists?

k... well here is how is feel.... first of all i'm bulimic (kinda) like i don't binge (i just eat a regular amount or little less of food everyday) but i do end up throwing up alot of what i eat. I'm 14 years old. Heres the thing... i don't think i'm fat... I don't throw up to make myself look skinny. I have A LOT of stuff going on in my life (family UGH!!, school, and ballet) i used to cry a lot but then that just got too hard for me and i decided that i would deal with the pain in a physical way. I used to be a cutter but i stopped and thats when i started to make myself throwup. I used to just throw up when i got really upset but now i throw up on a regular basis. Pretty much i'm just really confused and lost cuz... i don't like throwing up (or cutting) but i can't handle being depressed and sad. any advice?? oh and counsling didn't work. i had it when i was cutting. But my parents don't know about the bulimia.

Can anyone offer advice on dealing with competitive, judgmental, homophobic, extremely religious relatives (brother-in-law & wife) who look down on everyone who does not think the way they do? They spend a great deal of their time criticizing others (on their marriages, how they raise their children) yet they themselves fight more than any couple I've ever met (often in public) and do not have well behaved, well adjusted children. Infact, their 5-year old is a terror and is a terrible influence on our younger children. My husband and I consider ourselves moderate, tolerant people and pride ourselves on having friends of many different cultural, political and religious backgrounds. However, we cannot seem to have civil discussions on religion, politics, social issues etc with these folks as they are prone to obnoxious, completely uninformed statements that end up offending the rest of the family. We are obligated to see them 3-4x/yr @ holidays. They do have a few good qualities.Help!

As I understand it, each human that is born is infused by god with an immortal soul, which once created, exists forever. That means that as time marches on, the afterlife continues to get more and more populated with souls. Where is god getting all these soul ingredients? Is there a heavenly field where you plant "soul seeds?"

Some say souls are part of god to begin with. So what is god then, some kind of enourmous "mother alien" that just keeps laying soul eggs to be placed into the bodies of humans (or aliens/beings/whatever?) Does this make god an endless, infinite soul factory whose purpose is to reclaim said souls after they've lived a brief mortal existence, during which time they must prove their worthiness by resisting all kinds of clever & insideous temptations, just to get back to god again? Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!

Or, does god keep getting smaller each time he doles out a sole?

Why can't god just create the soul and set it next to him to begin with?

Why did this question get your attention? Is it because you never ever hear of anything being invented by people from the "religion of peace"?

Think about it, a culture which has existed for 1400 years. They are the second largest chunk of the worlds entire population, over 1.4 billion of em, and literally nothing...nothing at all.

"didnt they do something with numbers and math"? Uh, NO!!! Arabic numerals come entirely from Hindus, the conquering Muslims who butchered the hindus merely took the credit. Google this, every word is 100% true. Stop in the math section of B&N next time, there are several books on this history of math.
