I thought it was time.

I loved him, but I had loved others before and didn't marry them so..... I simply thought it was the right time.

First and foremost...LOVE!!! He is my best friend. He makes me laugh and then there are times he makes me cry, but there is always the love. We have only been married two months, but have been together for 8 years and I couldn't imagine coming home to anyone else but him. I thank God every day that he gave me such a gift as my husband. He is the best!!

Have a wonderful holiday season and I hope everyone is happy with their choices!! :)

Convience. We had been living together, I had given up a good paying job with great benefits to move to another state to live with him. (Stupid move I know...LOL) Him being military the only jobs I could get in my "field" were temporary positions that didn't offer benefits and the thought of "what would happen if I got pregnant" came up having gotten pregnant on the pill once before I didn't want it to "sneak up" on me again LOL, and neither did he. So we got married basically so I could have health insurance. 20 years later we got our final decree of divroce

My husband and I were both married before, and we both knew we would NEVER do that again.....but.....he changed that in me. He was kind, and gentle, and took his time with me. We were together for 4 yrs before we got married, and 12 yrs later, I am still in love with him. He is a wonderful man, and a wonderful father. He is also in Iraq serving our country. No regrets for my decision, and I know that he is the one I will grow old with.

I agree with Abby, because I wanted to.
There are different reasons people get married, and some of them will not tell you the truth anyway.

Because being married to my wife is so much better than being single with any of the crazy women I dated previously.

because I was and still is madly in love with him, and every time he holds me I feel loved and safe, and I don't think I could live without him, or ever be with any other man, and he always tell me he loves me more time than I can count in a day and more importantly he make sure I feel loved not to mention he holds me when I cry
