An online degree is useless in this profession. You need to have practica in order to learn therapeutic and assessment techniques. Some schools offer some classes online, but it's not possible to do ALL of it that way. You can go to asha.org, which is the website for the American Speech Language Hearing Association. They have information on accredited programs.

There are a lot of universities and colleges that offer accreditated online schools. It's very important to verify the institution has the correct accreditation you're looking for. Personally, I think some of the best online schools have both brick and mortar degrees and online degrees. For example, I work the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. We have approximately 7,000 students on our campus, but we also offer three online graduate degrees: criminal justice, project management, and engineering. Peterson's is a very trusted resource that will list many schools that are well accreditated in the online area.

Here is a site with information on some very good online schools. You might have to do a little bit more digging to determine if each school provides a speech pathology program:
http://www.college-scholarship-hound.com/index.php?t=onlineschools
You'll find info on Kaplan University Online, Colorado Technical University Online, University of Phoenix, and a bunch of other great online schools and programs.
You can also register for a $10,000 scholarship giveaway while you're doing more research.
Good luck.
