Most guys I know like a virgin and it's for a reason you may have suspected. Men are biologically more egocentric and domineering than are females. Even the kind, soft-spoken guys take a personal stake in being the best, which is why "nerd rage" is prevalent in males and the whole "suicidal introvert) thing is more typical for females, that is to say, when a man fails to be the best he turns it out into the world for a time and when a woman fails to be the best above the other females she turns it in on herself and questions her own validity.
Men need to feel like the alpha-male. I'd go as far as to say that giving your virginity to a man is like a man giving his whole heart to you. No, we're not more shallow than you (O.K., maybe a little more), we simply have odd priorities in the eyes of a female. Having a female bestow upon us the entirety of her trust and loyalty is second to her allowing us the priviledge of being the first human to have a sexual bond with her.
We can be deep, we're simply odd in the way in which we let our depth manifest, and yes, I do believe women ARE naturally more emotionally deep, it's just the unfortunate truth.
Anyway, on the short-and-skinny, men place value on sex the way you place value on love - which, incidentally, is why your having been with other guys, especially those we know/know of, initially makes us more angry than it would you in the opposite situation and we have to take time to get over it and allow ourselves to maturely phase out of it. This being said, it's fair to assume they're going to appreciate your allowing them to... "deflower" you, I suppose?

I can't speak for other guys but I respect virgins, especially if she's very attractive. I went out with couple before and I loved it. I don't want to be the first unless I truly want her to be my girlfriend but otherwise I love to go down on her because I know she's clean. So it makes it that much easier in terms of sex. By the way, if a guy wants to just break her virginity then he's an a$$hole. Stay away from guys like that. If a guy truly is respectable he'll wait.

The problem with virginity in america is that we look at it as a game or challenge to take someones virginity away. I am a male virgin in my thirties myself so i laugh when a woman asks if she can be my first. Its obvious to me that she doesnt understand why i am staying a virgin. Virginity is about me respecting my heart and the heart of my soulmate enough to wait for her. Virginity isnt a physical thing , its mostly about the human heart. The same thing about romance, Notice 2 people truely in love with each other, They can be in the crummiest place on earth and still be happy because their love is from within, it doesnt need
a pretty scene from the outside to fullfill this love

At my age I prefer someone with some experience and who is uninhibited. Several years ago I met a 27y/o virgin. She was from a very religious family that did not even like the word "sex" mentioned in the house. It was like being back in highschool. This poor girl had no clue!
Long story short, the offer came about but I did not bite . I encouraged her to save that for her wedding night and her future husband. Laugh if you want, I made the right decision and don't regret it. I had no intentions of marrying this person.

I think either way it is the same, but as a guy I dont like the feeling that maybe if things dont work out as much as we want does she really want me to be her first.

I'd have to say that the idea of a virgin is not something I would like, were I still available. I'd rather have a woman with some maturity and experience than one who doesn't know what she is doing and possibly hung-up.

on... but can also be a guilt ridden experience, especialy if she sorly regrets it and holds you personally responsible for the termoil you put her through... not a good experience...
wait till your mature enough to handle it.. mentaly and physically.. that would be 18yrs plus...
