can CD-ROM play DVDs and VCDs,CD-R,CD-RW?

i have a cd-rom and whenever i play VCDs the PC shuts downs.I have to install windows again and that takes me a lot of time.

What is the Nth Term in this Sequence?

The sequence is -6, -2, 4, 12, 22

I got this far in the working out and then got stuck

1st Differences 4, 6, 8, 10
2nd Differences 2, 2, 2

That gives n(squared as the start of the rule)
If you use that you get
1x1=1
2x2=4
3x3=9
4x4=16
5x5=25

The remainders are 7 for the first term
6 for the second
5 for the third
4 for the fourth
3 for the fifth

How can i stop redirections of google?

how can i stop redirections of google to wordsea and casino or porn sites?can i set another page as my default because although i try, porn pop-ups block my system and google appears again even though i haven't visited porn sites.please help me because i work in a business network and i'm afraid to tell that my pc has virus.how can i delete all the existing virus.i already have the avira antivire protection.please answer as soon as possible.thanks in advance

Why disagree that God is one ?

A short story:
a young christian of 13 , asked his mother >>> what were people worshiping at the time of Adam, Noah, Abraham,......until Moses?
she answered >>> God !!!.
he asked >>> why we worship jesus then?
she answered >>>because it is written in the bible.
he asked >>> what will be the faith of the people before the coming of jesus ?
she answered >>> I don't know.
So, After thinking about this even more, knowing that there is
a religion ( Islam) that worships only one God , like the people
before. Again ,he too believed this. And became a muslim at
age 17 himself. Why? Because he could not accept or find reasons to believe in the trinity concept. None of the people before nor after any of the phophets believed in this. This belief
is only in the bible( new testament) not in the old testament or
the Quran.Can we trust or believe blindly in the bible and ignore
what most people on the earth have all believed.

Anyone a Buddhist and an Atheist/Agnostic?

Lately I have become interested in Buddhism and I have felt that Agnosticism feels like the best fit for me. So I was wondering if anyone else out there has developed some type of a Buddhist/Atheist or Agnostic hybrid belief that works for them. If so, please give me some details. I have read a book called Buddhism Without Beliefs by Stephen Batchelor. Very good, I recomend it. If you know of any other books on this subject please suggest them.
I appreciate all answers to my question.

How much water should I drink ? I have undergone angioplasty recently.?

I am having contradictory opinions on the subject.One physician has advised that total fluid intake including beverages should be limited to one liter per day, while others say that one should take 10-12 glasses every day. is there any norm ?

Would you divorce...?

You and your spouse are banned from each other... a total real life Romeo and Juliet Scenario... seperated seemingly permanently... If it was impossible to do things correctly and the only alternative to divorce, and losing touch with your family, was to do things illegally? Would you? Or would you give up and just accept defeat, and divorce? Lick your wounds and move on for the benefit of each other, and the children? Why or Why not?

Smoking is killing me, How do I quit?

I lack the will power to quit. I cant find a way to kick this habit. I dont know if I really lack the willpower or it is normal for all smokers wanting to quit to struggle this way. Any advise would be appreciated.

About Morales! Religious and atheists question?

That mute little voice in your head that keep your balance and sense of right and wrong, even if you go the other way, but deep inside it exist in every one of us. Morales and consciousness in human beings have an origin of course, they might be relative, but at the end, the story of mankind is somehow a struggle in ethical values, consicousness, morales. what do you think? what is in your opinion the origin of consciousness in human beings?
