I need to buy a GPU, but can't understand what to choose, GeForce 6800 of GeForce 7600? Plz hlp me out. Which will give me better perfoemance in games. If you have any suggestions regarding any onther GPU from ATI of nVidia then plz answer that too.

Well I was looking at the 2 graphic cards at Best Buy the other day and the 7600 is designed to run a duo card set up. It has an adapter that connects 2 7600's together its more expensive because you have to buy 2 cards but it is well worth it in the end. I personnaly have the duo card set up running the 7600. I get awsome performance and i am thinking I really saved alittle cash. the bang is deffinatelly worth buck.

Don't let the higher number designation fool you, I've done my research and the 6800 is actually the better card. They both have 12 pixel pipelines (the number is very important), so they're even in that regard. However, the 6800 has a higher memory bandwidth, which would mean the 6800 would perform better. Although it does depend on WHICH 6800 and 7600 you're talking about. The 6800 ultra would be the best of the bunch, but a 7600GT is better than a 6800GS.

Defintely GeForce 7600 card. Its new and has got much better processing than the 6800 card. You can try yo get a GeForce7950 Card, which is even better than a 7600 Card.

7600GT is pretty good. I just upgraded from 6600 to 7600. Although, 7950 has been launched which I presume is remarkable but it costs a fortune.

7600gt is the best choice.But 7900GTO is more than that
