When I wash dishes in the dishwasher, they come out covered in tiny food particles or something. =/ Usually the dishes on the top shelf, but sometimes the bottom, too. Like, there'll be pools of water in all the glasses, with gross junk floating in them all. U_U Or if I wait a while to unload the dishes, all the particles will be dried on. It's annoying! I have to wash them all again when I take them out.
Now, I have had other dishwashers that leave behind little particles and junk on the dishes, but this is just way in excess of that.
So, what do I need to do?? Is there a filter that needs changing, or some part of it that needs cleaning out??

I am an American who came to France to be an Au Pair. The family refuses to pay me what they owe me, and when I try to talk to them about my contract, they end up screaming at me. On Saturday, I told the mom that if she was going to keep yelling at me, instead of being a reasonable, rational adult, I was going to leave. She threatened to call the police on me. I want to know if anyone else has had a similar experience, and what recourse I have. I have tried looking on line for French Au Pair laws, and have had little success in finding them. I am also pregnant, and this situation has gotten out of control. I just want my money, and I want to get out of here, as quickly as possible. Any suggestions? I have spoken with the American Embassy, and will be speaking to an attorney today. If anyone had similar experiences, or knows anything about French laws, or even where to find them, I would really apppreciate it.

the movies about a couple who either lives forever or has different lives through centuries. I think it starts with them as cave people all the way up to the modern day. I don't think they get together untill the modern day. i can't get it off my mind til i know. it came out i guess in the 90s. Not Tuck Everlasting and not the movie that's coming out with Hugh Jackman. does ne1 know this movie??? what year it came out??

I'm in my 50's, so is he, he has worked hard all his life, so have I, he has been married 2x, me too, although my husband died.
He is not too good with money and has very little savings. I have saved and saved. At this point, for us to move in together, neither of our houses are adequate, so we need a much larger home to accomodate all of us. Our two teenage children of the opposite sex don't get along well, so the place would have to be big. It would be very expensive. I could buy a house for all of us, but I'm uncomfortable because in this market, should something happen to our relationship, I would get hung with a lot of expenses and a house way to big for my son and me. He says he will make the payments, and he is able, but what if...????
