the intimacy between bf/gf depends of the two person involve....it dpends how far the two of you go to intimacy...the most important thing is that the two of you respect each other and yourself. Some couple i know had intimacy eventhough they dont do sex/ love making. they preserve doing it after they get married....really it's important thing in a relationship is respect with each other.

To me, making love is the ultimate intimacy between a man and a woman. We become one for awhile. Nothing is even near it in intimacy. That is why sex should be special. A one night stand is not intimate.

To me, intamacy with my boyfriend would include being close, cuddling, romatic tickling, staring into each other's eyes...things like that. Of course, sex could be considered intimate, but it isnt always. There is a difference between making love to someone and having sex. Sex merely involves the act itself, where making love involves your emotions and feelings for each other. Making love is intimate, but other things that you do together, such as those listed above, that makes you feel lovey-dovey and stirs up your emotions, are also intimate.

intimacy is just you two growing closer as a couple. Its not having sex altough that would be a part of it. Building trust is intimacy. Kissing is, sharing thoughts and dreams is too.

it can take many forms from: deep mental conection, to some serious deep dicking. if you look at the three aspects of people (yeah hoodoo i know) mind body and soul. you can be intiamate on any or all three levels have i conversation where you learn and understand the other party completely, physical, need more be said actually i guess why not holding hand to sex, spiritual little harder to explain usaully stems from one of others but not nessasarily could be enjoying the same things (no words or contact need be involved) or any number of other things

You start with communication, then there is trust, then there is sex and then there is love...

It is a chain of events that SHOULD culminate in love... Intimacy comes in degrees...
