i have kind of a raw skin / dark red mark on my shaft, it hurts when it rubs up against my underwear or what not, is it irritation? what can i do to help this so it wont hurt?

Both of my parents grew up there and my mothers childhood house was just torn down my fathers was torn down a long time ago (it was even one of the very first tear downs they put a church parking lot there). His parents bought a nicer/ bigger house in the town. Any ways my question is why does Hinsdale allow for all those tear downs? Imean all the other surrounding towns dont allow it as much. My parents say they would never move back because its not the same. The are considering moving to a near by town.

I was walking down the street when I felt someone looking at me. I looked across the street and saw this tall guy with his head turned towards my direction. I'm not approving of what he did, it was most definitely wrong. What I'm thinking, though, is that he has apologized, but now they have this thing with him and Jesse Jackson agreeing he needs to seek help. What he said was undoubtedly unacceptable, but it's not like he was screaming "You'd better watch your back N-er, because I'm going to knife you went you aren't expecting it" or "n-ers like you are proof that the blacks should've never been freed from slavery!" People lose their anger all the time, and he wasn't violent. Whether he is racist or he just said what he did to hit a sensitive subject towards the heckler, he didn't threaten the guy's life. He's apologized, it needs to be left alone, now. (I bet if it had been a white heckler and a black stand-up, Jackson would've praised the guy for throwing racial slurs.)

Does anyone agree with me on this?

So I bought a brand new 30GB iPod Video a few days ago and when I analyzed it using Windows Defragmenter, I noticed that it was VERY fragmented. I had loaded and deleted a bunch of videos and albums in the past few days. I know about restore and how it erases everything and defragments at the same time, but I don't WANT to have to reupload all 20+ gigs of music and videos that I spent a long time tagging (yes, I tag my stuff manually--I can't stand iTunes for playing music even though I'm stuck using it for iPod), yknow?

Is it safe for me to just defrag or will it feck up my iPod in any way? I keep reading conflicting answers on the net but no one seems to be able to provide a 100% definite answer as to why it's OK or why it'll ruin/could ruin your iPod.

Memory loss (total loss of memories of a 10-12 year period before the deep vein thrombosis). Is it rare? Memories before 10-12 years before DVT are clear with only a few gaps that are fairly normal for most people.

The DVT was 'massive' - the entire length of one leg, caught late, crystallized in places, extremely resistent to finally breaking up, & breakup caused 'damage' (said doctors) to leg, heart area, brain.

Brain seems fine (after CT scan) aside from headaches always on the centre of the right side of brain, but after 2 years the memories aren't there at all.

Does this qualify as a brain injury? Does a person get their old personality (pre DVT) back or are they stuck with remembering only pre-10-12 years before and post-DVT? (no amount of trying and going through videos or photos or diaries helps memory return).
