I was wondering where the miltary (hand over the eyebrow) salute came from, any ideas?

Hi, ive got a little prob with my rebuild thats going on at the mo, ive had my pinto block rebored to 2.1 and have gone to fit the pistons but the oil control ring is very tight in the bore. The metal parts have plenty of clearance but the sprung centre of the three part ring is so tight in the hole that it wont fit, it actually overlaps its self by about 5mm.

can anyone tell me if this is normal? as i know its a scraper ring but i dont want it to scrape the bores away! lol

any help would be appreciated

We've been dating for about 3 weeks and we live so far away that we talk on the phone everyday. But for the last week, his voice sounds angry and that he cant wait to get off the phone to me, which is upsetting me. I just dont know what I've done wrong.
