Regardless of which technology is better or not (and you will get 100 different answers from 100 different people), consider your rooms lighting conditions.

Plasma TVs have a highly polished screen and tend to reflect a lot of lights from lamps, windows, etc. LCDs have a non-glare coating on the screen and reflect considerably less light than Plasmas.

So if your room is fairly dark or you are able to control your lights pretty well, go with Plasma. But if your room is really bright and you can't control light sources very well, go with LCD.

I, personally, have a Samsung 46" LCD in a really bright room with lots of windows and the picture is amazing even on really bright summer days with all the curtains open.

well if ur want a small tv but good go LCD but if u want like a 42" or higher go wit the plasma
