Using Microsoft windows, when i'm putting borders at my document, I have noticed that when you are adjusting the length of the borders, the units are in Pt. But the assigned format given by my professor is that it should be 1inch from the edge of the paper. So how many Pt are there in 1 inch? (need the exact value)

I feel very sad because I had a horrible Thanksgiving. It was my worst Thanksgiving ever. I am to blame though.

I am divorced and live 3000 miles away from my child. I am currently living with my parents.

I have joined a newly singles group and went to a luncheon that they had on Thanksgiving dinner. I was also invited to some friend's house for dinner.

I stopped by their house since their house was close to the Thanksgiving luncheon. They were happy to see me and gave me hugs which I could not return. I stayed for a few minutes and then left. They really wanted me to stay for Thanksgiving dinner.

I cried all the way home in the car and then at home because I was alone on Thanksgiving. I felt very very sad and alone. I have been depressed lately and did not want to be around people.

Now I feel bad because I did not have a good Thanksgiving and can not go back in time - regrets......

I know of a little girl whose mom is dead and the father adandoned her. She lives with cousins now but they really can't adopt her, eventhough they want to, because they have a very unstable home life. I was wanting to adopt the kid for them that way the little girl didn't have to go to a foster home or someplace worse. I know i'm in the military, but is this a possiblity for me to do and if so, how would i do it?

The killer asteroid is supposed to pass earth within the moon's orbit. Nothing specifies the phase that the moon is in, so I thought "What if the rock hits the moon? Will we not have a moon?"

The first week we met he called every other day and has now dissappeared for 8 days and counting. Is this relationship over before it started or is this normal for guys? He was going out of town for the holiday and did make it sound like I might not hear from him. However, I think this could be an indication there is a girl he went to see? Holiday or not it seems he would have contacted me once, even if he is seeing someone. Of course we haven't discussed exclusivity yet so he can see other women but could still pick up the phone and dial. I am wondering if he has just moved on at this point? I am not going to call him because he is an older man and does all the calling in the old fashioned way. I want to wait and see if he calls on his own but just want to figure out if it is already over so that I can just forget him.

I was with her on and off for 2 years. We got off on a rough start because she wasnt over her ex. It was my first relationship and I must admit I was a bit immature. Im not a dumb guy and I do have a big intellectual edge over her. She is very superficial, (fake eyelashes, contacs, fake boobs) and she is only 20. I loved her to death and tried to give her everything she wanted. She has a wndering eye. We live an hour away from each other and with my older car, I walways try and see her. Throughout the relationship, I felt really unappreciated. She lives with mom and sister and all of them have guy problems. When we were trying to work things out, she started talking to some guy as "friends." It constantly bothered me because I did whatever i could to make her feel more secure. I act needy and desperate because I wonder why she does certain things to me. She says its one reason she left me cuz im crazy. Now everything i tried to avoid is happening. It literally "kills" me.
