Although I am an American and as an American I believe English has to be our national language, my favorite language is Italian. I like it because it is a romance language and it flows beautifully. Believe me have you ever been with an Italian chick and she whispers "sweet nothings" in your ear? Wow it could start international wars! Not to mention no matter what you say sounds so beautiful. You can say "the rats are eating the food in the pantry" and it sounds so SEXY! No matter what is said, it is so musical, and pleasing to the ear. Perhaps one of the reasons that Italian Opera is classically bought and enjoyed thru out the world.

Tamil since it"s an ancient language and attains a very independant quality compared to other languages

My favorite language is Esperanto. I love the dream behind it. I also love the fact that learning Esperanto has allowed me to speak to people from all over the world, from many different cultures, without falling prey to the world's opinion of US citizens at large, that we expect everyone to learn English.

I like German language because the Germans speak slowly and clearly. Furthermore, it is not difficult to write or read German language as every alphabet has its one sound (like in English same alphabet sound differently in different words) and no silent words (like alphabets in French and English words) are there in German language.
