Infront of the gearstick lift the ash tray or drinks holder and inthere you will find it.

In all the newer cars it will be on the driver's side, near the underside of the dash, probably around your left knee area when seated in the drivers seat. It may or may not have a rubber protector over it.

sitting in drivers seat just in front of your right knee, you will find a panel, behind the panel you will find the fuses and its NO where near there! Just in front of the handbrake, under the small inspection trim, the eobd/diag socket lives there.
