Does anyone have experience moving from Chicago to San fran? I am considering moving. I love going to SF on travel, but not sure if I will enjoy living there. I love Chicago, except for the weather. Is there anything you miss or like about both?

I have had problems in my life, and got through them. And I do have issues with my confidence and looks. However, I have a wonderful partner and a good home life; so why do I still struggle with depression. Have had two counsellors, and they only help in the short term. Been on mild anti-depressants, they seemed to help, but I worried about being on them long term.

My 4 year old German Shepherd, Fluffy, has 2 broken ribs, a dis-located hip and has 'Grade 7' elbow dysplasia (don't know wha grade 7 means). He is only 4 yrs old, very fit and healthy (besided the probelsm listed) but I just can't afford the surgery and medication he needs. Vet said it would cost over $2000 to do the surgery and give all the medication! Is there something else I can do for my darling dog? I have asked the vet for other options - he said surgery was the best option. He is in so much pain and I hate seeing him like this; he cries when he is in bed. He got ran over by a truck only 2 days ago and the signs of his injuries are showing a LOT!!!! I have 3 children aged 2, 7 and 12 and a hubby that doesn't work. I earn around $1700 a fortnight and we wouldn't be able to eat for 4 weeks if I allowed the surgery!!!

Please help me with my options. I have no idea what to do. My kids are so attached to Fluffy; we can't put him to sleep so please don't suggest that.

I think I drive my boyfriend crazy because has'nt called me in two weeks. We've been together for only 3 months and we are already fighting. I know its my all fault. I always bring up his past relationships. Although, he does text msg me from time to time.. to tell me to have a good day and happy thanksgiving...and I text back. Before we got together, it felt so right. I want to start anew with him, take time apart and become friends again to work on our relationship.
my question is should I call him? or wait for him to call me? to tell him how I'm feeling, because I dont want to seem like I'm all over him?

Having been on almost one hundred roller coasters, and ridden many of them dozens of times, I have been on probably twenty rides when they have broken. I got stuck on deja vu, Stuck on Millennium Force, ect. The list goes on and on.

Have you ever been on a ride when it broke? If so, which one(s) and how long did you have to wait?

It seems to me, that even those below the poverty line in this nation are stilll fat. They obviously find food somewhere.

In contrast, people below the poverty level in say, Africa and Central America, are emaciated and covered with flies.

Should our government increase the living standard of people who can't buy more useless crap, but still have food to eat, or should they care about increasing the living standard of people who die by the hundreds everyday due to starvation?
