Why is it that when you ladies pass by a fella or a group of fellas ..you always look down at your shoes or the pavement you wakl on ..also you stare at the driver of the approaching cars .but look away when it comes near.avoiding eye contact why do you do that ????

We wanna look at guys (especially nice looking smart ones) to mostly see if we are being looked at too (because we are so lovely). And of course the looking away is because we know we've been looked at and it has satisfied our curiousity about ourselves...haha. That would do, don't have to maintain eye contact after that unless you are so vavoom handsome...lol.

I don't think I do this. At least, I don't think I do it more with males than females. The reasons someone else might do it could range from an upbringing where males were superior to females to shyness to trying not to let the guy get the idea you're interested to an attempt to be coy. I'm naturally an introvert, and I have a much easier time making eye contact with males or females if that person is engaging, friendly, and holds eye contact with me, as well. Looks really have nothing to do with it.

To some extent, it is rightly said by other participants that ladies are shy. But I do not agree that girls who look down while walking are not bold. Not true for all.
There are other reasons also as below:
1. It does not look decent for a girl/lady to look into the everyone's eyes or walk with heads pointing the sky. She might look snobbish. It's just not lady-like quality. Ladies are believed to be sober, polite.
2. A lot of times, a lady staring into men's eyes is interpretted wrongly by men. Many men feel she is passing signals. yeah, believe it on not, that holds very truth in a lot of parts of worlds.

Did you know that in less than 30seconds a woman has already sized you up? Men are visual. Women arent. A woman in just under 30 seconds has already took in your clothing , age, hair, eye color, your hands, teeth or what ever attraction that intrest them. If not intrested we move on to anything else that catches our attention. Such as passing cars and other surrounding objects.
When a lady passes a group of fellows then she knows that as a group you can be pick off one by one if she chooses to but which one . So she amuses herself till she does know.

Because it's embarrassing when a guy (especially a group of men) stares at you. I do that sometimes, I catch myself looking around from embarrassment. LOL
Also It can be because I'm not interested in that guy and I don't want him to think I am so I avoid eye contact.
Can I have my eye's back? hehe

It's called being shy!
And sometimes it's just rude to stare at someone.
Sometimes I look away, but only if I'm not interested. I usually take a good long look. ;)
