It's selfishness bordering on solipsism to care about what happens to you after you die. Of course they can eat me.

Though after they eat me, they're still five starving people. I suppose they could draw straws to see who they have to kill to eat next. OH! Or each cut off a limb and share that, so they'd all survive.

We are not anthrophages. So we should not think of that. On the other hand, once I am dead what happens to my body does not concern me any more. I should only be concerned as to what happens to my soul. If instead of being eaten by worms my body could be used to save somebody else's life, I would prefer that.

On the other hand, some 20 years ago, a plane crashed in the Andes, and the survivors had recourse to anthropophagy to survive until they were rescued a couple of months later.

Picturing myself tied to a stick and being slowly rotated over an open campfire with an apple in my mouth.
When I die, I don't think I'm going to care what happens to the body.
A funeral costs from 6k and up. Just think of the money we could save and the starving people we could feed all at the same time.

First off, You would not have to give them your permission to eat you. And it would not matter if you are dead or dying, for if they are hungry enough, They might put you in a pot alive, And you would stop screaming soon enough...........lol................... Also if I were you I would do some research on cannibalism which includes chapters on the action of what normal people do when stranded.............

Once I'm done with this body, I don't care what happens to it. Everything that was me, will be gone, and the least part, my body will remain. I won't care at that point if they bury, burn, get it stuffed and turn me into a planter, or hold a BBQ with it.

Hail Eris! All Hail Discordia!

Hopefully tho, they serve beer, since it's been marinated in it for years...

Once they're absolutely sure I'm dead . . . go for it! Then they need to eat slowly and hope they get rescued soon, 'cause what happens if no one else becomes injured and dies? Tough decision to follow!

no,
however what is done to my dead corpse is their choice. burn it, cremate it, or bury it in a hole and wait for the ressurection. it dont matter. if you burn it God can create a body from the rocks, if you eat it, you have life. but if you save your life you will lose it
