*OHHHH...I have two and a half good stories.
# 1 My friend and I went to Six Flags CA and it was my first time on roller coasters, first time at Six Flags...just nervous as can be. The first ride we went on was Goliath. My friend said that if I can conquer that ride, then anything is possible @ Six Flags.
We were in the front row going up the first BIG incline when I heard a metal bolt drop into our seats. I, of course, panicked like a crazy woman. It was just a bolt from the metal chair...nothing like the lap bar or anything VITAL. The next time we went on the ride, he took a bolt from the other side of a chair (once again, nothing VITAL or important except for aesthetically pleasing to the eye) and we had matching bolts. Haha.
# 2 The Pirates of the Caribbean ride broke down @ Disneyland CA. We were stuck right under the bridge with the drunk pirate and his bottle of rum. One of the workers there said on the loud speaker that they would mute all sound (because when you are stuck on one particular area of the ride...you hear 5 different songs going on at one...drives you crazy).
That drunken pirate was the only thing still talking after all the sound was muted on the ride!?!?!? Creepy.
ALSO, I was stuck on the Indiana Jones ride @ Disneyland CA on the part with the bridge and the skull is firing at you with flames. I was with two of my god-children at the time and they were both screaming and crying for about an hour until they finally turned off the ride and we had to exit through the back doors.
Crazy fun times...

My mom and I got stuck on the Batman ride at Six Flags, IL. We probably waited fifteen minutes to get off. The crazy thing was, we were only like 20 yards from the get-off point. Mom lost all feeling in her legs. Haha! Good times.

Canada's Wonderland, Aug. 14, 2003, Vortex, I was on the way up to the top when the great Power outage that struck Ontario and much of the northeastern U.S. occurred. I had to wait a good half an hour inches away from that sweet adrenaline rush that is the plummet from the top.

A Merry-Go-Round broke one time and I was stuck there for almost a half hour
Actually, it's never happened to me. But I was at Disneyland one time and the Matterhorn broke down. People were being helped off the ride and they had to walk thru the ride. At one of the parts of the ride that you can see out of the mountain, there were some people that looked out of the mountain. I started waving to them and they waved back---LOL
NOTE--there are some videos at youtube of people stuck on rides and walking thru(Alice in Wonderland)

I haven't ever been stuck on a ride but i wouldn't have liked to. I have seen people stuck on a skychair ride for 30 minutes which would have been really bad.

It happened before I got on at Kingda Ka, the fastest and tallest roller coaster in the world. It is at New Jersey's Six Flags Great Adventure. I STILL WENT ON THOUGH!!
BEST ROLLERCOASTER IN THE WORLD, AT LEAST COMPARED TO THE OTHER 24 I'VE GONE TO.

I was working at Valleyfair in shakopee minnesota when the Wild Thing broke down. Nobody died but there were tons of news choppers around. It was kinda funny now that I look back because these two girls were like "people were flying" when nothing too serious happened. Blowing it out of proportion.
