Why does cutting long hair cost more?

I've never understood. I've had long hair all my life and everytime I pay to have it cut, it costs $15-$20 more because it's long. It's ridiculous because it takes less time and skill to cut my hair straight across than to layer a short hairstyle, yet I'm the one to fork out. You can't tell me it's extra product, either...a dab more shampoo DOES NOT cost $20--and they don't have to use hair spray/gel like when they style a short cut. Now, an updo or getting it cut from long to short, I understand. I've decided I'm not paying it anymore. :) It's unfounded (unless you can give me good reason) and I am a damn good tipper.

Seems an elderly gentleman had serious hearing problems for a number of years.

He went to the doctor and the doctor was able to have him fitted for a set of hearing aids that allowed the gentleman to hear 100%. The elderly gentleman went back in a month to the doctor and the doctor said, "your hearing is perfect. Your family must be really pleased you can hear again."

To which the gentleman said, "Oh, I haven't told my family yet. I just sit around and listen to the conversations. I've changed my will three times!"

A lady came up to me on the street and pointed at my suede jacket. "You know a cow was murdered for that jacket?" she sneered.

I replied in a psychotic tone, I didn't know there were any witnesses. Now I'll have to kill you too."

Why would they do this to me???

Well i was dating this boy for about a month at the most but we liked eacheother for like 3 years, then on day he just breaks up with me out of no where and tells me his mom said he's to young to date(were 13 )then when i come bake to school on monday i find out that my bestfriend and him are a couple now. I fliped out, i just cant understand if he cant date then why is he dating her? I dont mean to sound stuck up or anything but she is not a very pretty girl and she already got fingerd and gave this guy a bj, so she's bascily a s.l.u.t. Its been a week and i havent talked to either one of them it hurts really bad because i was in love with him and he told me he loved me too and i was the only one for him. I guess what my question is why would they do this to me?? And dont say talk it over with my bestfriend because if i do that im going to end up beating her up so just please help im really upset..thanks

Why do the English people blame American people for what our government does. Most Americans can not stand what our president is doing Thank God he cannot run again and if he could the people would not vote him.in. Pre-Lit Christmas tree won't light!?

Our 9 foot pre-lit Christmas tree we bought 2 years ago won't light. Some of the branches light up but we have full sections that won't light...Any ideas??

I need a media player.?

I downloaded Windows media player 11. But it doesn't play some DVDs it says I need to down load some other things. Is there a media player. Preferably made by the dudes of firefox I can download that is more or less thorough in the sense of the files it can reproduce. I'm not looking for a monster that uses up a lot of space. Only something practical. Thank you.

i went to the hospital with contractions and period type pains on sunday and my cervix is open abit they kept me in intill yesterday and ive lost some discharge and it was brown and now im getting really bad back ache could i be in labour
