I downloaded Windows media player 11. But it doesn't play some DVDs it says I need to down load some other things. Is there a media player. Preferably made by the dudes of firefox I can download that is more or less thorough in the sense of the files it can reproduce. I'm not looking for a monster that uses up a lot of space. Only something practical. Thank you.

Download VLC Media Player, I have found this player will play just about anything you can throw at it. It's a fine cross platform player that is light weight, open source, and did I say it is free.

You need to download codecs like divx decoder. Search divx, you'll find lots of options there.

look in your computer, deep within some windows folder u will find "Windvd"
