First of all,i've just seen this film last sunday,and now every time i watch it,i simply couldn't help snobbing over it,especially the moment when forrest's mum was dying and after jenny died,mainly due to the soundtrack which is just heart-stirring,and i've checked IMDb to see the other user's comment to this film,well,somebody said Tom Hanks got his second Oscar with his stupid face in it,and the film was ornery and shouldn't even be nominated for any award... now the question is...please tell me what did thank about this film,do you thhink it's stupid,wasting of one's time?

To ensure the child is brought up in a good environment with decent manners and morals by the parents. Surely, if you're decent parents (note the plural), you wouldn't object. Adoption and foster agencies carry out rigorous checks, why not the same for people wanting to be parents?
I see fat, scruffy kids going to school each morning eating their packet of crisps for breakfast, swearing profusely, abusing other people. In the evenings there's packs of them, who are supposed to be at the youth club, maurauding the streets and swilling beer and cider and making a nuisance of themselves. I always think to myself "What's the parent(s) like?"
Almost every other level of high responsibility includes a licence, screening or a test these days. - driving, teaching, nursing, trading, even owning a dog or firearm. Parenting is THE biggest responsibility.
I know I'm going to be slated for this question, but would like to see the reaction. Remember folks it's just a question!

Is it because they lucked out in life and got wealthy, Or are they spoiled because they sold their soul to the banks for everything they have, Or they inherited a financial empire, or they have hollywood looks,Or they went to a fancy college and thought they were smart,,WE all put our pants on 1 leg at a time.. go to the bathroom..fart...eat.. get tired.. sleep....have red blood...etc... i could keep on going.........What we do for a living Does Not Define Who We Are Right? ... Then why are we judged and critized if we dont have new I-PODS, PS-3s, a new suv, an expensive home, snazzy clothes, nike shoes, camera phones, or $20,000 credit cards, checking account, etc.......... Is it because the ones that feel superior are so far in debt to their eyeballs that they feel jealous that someone that does not have much is naturally happy? Who set the standard that you have to live this way and give every penney to the bank and be their slave for life so you can have what you want? peace?

The recipe contains, pecans,sweet potatos, there is no bottom crust or top crust. I don't think it is called sweet potato pie, but I am uncertain. If anyone knows of a recipe like that, I surely would like to have it and make it for this Thanksgiving.

I have seen Fish 3 times in the last year.

He has just finished his Return to Childhood tour. He will be doing another solo album over the winter, and will be out on tour next summer. It is the 20th anniversary of Clutching at Straws in 2007, and he will also be sing most of the tracks from that.

I am hoping to see him on the next tour at least twice.

I wasn't able to go to my apartment for a week. I checked my pantry and my pasta & rice grain bins (which are airtight) right before I was about to cook dinner.
