I mean after my Theatre class, I always, well just started last week, I've been giving my theatre teacher a hug. When I come toward him, he reaches his hand out to shake my hand. I sort of ignore it and give him a hug? I mean what could HE be thinking? What should I do? I know it's not a big deal, but I like him, and I don't want to bug him by always hugging him. I even hugged him once in the school hallway.

You know when I first saw that response that I responded to, I got mad instantly. At first I just wanted to make Carol mad, and I was never even going to check and see if anyone responded to my question. Then I got too curious and looked anyway. Now that I've calm down and after reading some of the answers you all have sent me, it was harsh. The only reason why I even put that part about every one who agrees is because a lot of people responded who did agee with her. Thats who the anger was directed to not everyone else. Ok i got a friend he is kinda fat not like take up the whole hallway but he gots some extra bagage hes was like 5'7 185 lbs at the end of football about a month ago, and he thinks the reason he cant get a girl is cause hes fat and every girl he likes wouldn't go out with him even though hes a good guy, im just normal wieght and i told him i think hes wrong but he wont listen so the real question is girls would u go out with a bigger guy.

I have a guy friend (yes- only friend and both of us are completely happy with that). We are both sixteen and neither of us has ever been involved in a romantic relationship. We have a very childlike relationship; we fight like brother and sister, and still get into tickle fights. It’s is nice to have that relationship because there is no tension between us, we can collapse on the couch after fighting and have our legs completely intertwined without feeling uncomfortable.
Today, I left him playing on my computer while I went out to walk the dog for probably about 20 min. After he left I pulled up Windows Media Player on my computer and it had a video on it from this website http://www.girlvinyl.com/eel/ The video is of a Japanese girl (I think, I closed it really quickly) putting eels in a place they do not belong (don’t open this video if there are children present or if you have a weak stomach, like me lol)
So my question is this, is this like some bizarre fetish, like is he getting a kick out of this or is it like “Oh nasty, man. Lets watch it again!” male attitude? I don’t know what it means, but after that I went and checked the history on my computer and he went strait to the website, it wasn’t a Google search, so I guess that means he has been there before.

I am of the opinion that all human love including romantic love is subject to meeting mutual expectations. In that sense how deep human love is, can only be described with respect to it's intensity. So human love, I think can only be described on a scale for example 1 to 10, 1 meaning the least degree of love and 10 meaning the highest degree of human love where one will not hesitate to put his/her life on line for another.

But even at the highest degree, can human love be considered absolute like agape love?
