Of cos, we would... appearance is just a skin... there's a lots thing much more valuable than that... with my own experience: my bf is much more bigger than me.. tall and also a bit more meat (6' wit 87 lb). and also average good looking.. but i go for him bcoz he's a nice person, caring me, lov me and, most importantly, i love him.. your friend is just depress bcoz of his size

if he meet some1 he really care for and treat her nicely... i don think she will reject him just for his appearance.. cheers ;-)

He's not fat, but it sounds like his self esteem is shot and we as women can pick up on that and it is a turn off. Maybe the girls he likes aren't good for him anyway. I've went out with bigger guys. It doesn't matter as long as they're a good person.

i think looks is what is screwing us up now days. like i tell people even the most goreous guys with the hard rock bodies are the ugliest. its whats inside counts. your friend is probably a guy with a sense of humor and treats people with kindness? well you tell him that the girls that dont give him the time of day dont worry about them, cause for every girl that turns him down there are 2 other girls out there for him and would love to be with him. i find that guys that are insecure with themselves are the most loving guys out there. so i hope that he finds a girl that likes him for him and not his looks or body cause the girls that he tried to get will see what they could of had had they not had thier heads in thier a##es.:)

why not? sometimes girls get intimidated by a bigger guy but once they get to know him and find out he's a nice person then there's not a problem...I know a couple girls who like bigger guys better than thin guys because because being with a thin guy is uncomfortable, with the pokey bones there's nothing to snuggle w/ or to make a girl feel safe and protected

He doesn't sound fat to me. Even if he were, I would look at his heart to see what kind of person he is. That is, if I were closer to his age than I am. It sounds a little like he has a self-esteem problem. I'm a caring listener if he would want someone to talk to.

No. Back in school I was 5'1 and 98 lbs. Your friend is not overweight if he is under 200 lbs in my opinion. But if he's bigger then no I probably would not have dated him.

A girl who values other qualities more than appearance will go out with him. But it he is so concerned, tell him to do some weight lifting.

Did it and married him. Couldn't be happier. There is more to a person than appearance. Like brains, since of humor, a heart, etc. That's what's important.

If you really like the person then yes. Looks doesn't matter it's the personality and what is on the inside that matters.Looks can be deceiving.
