The Big 10 Conference has 11 schools represented. Should they add a 12th? If so, is North Dakota State (NDSU) a good choice? If not, who would make a better choice? Maybe a MAC school? Maybe a Big East school? Maybe Iowa State or Missouri moves over from the Big 12? What are your thoughts?

Thank you for your answer Jimmy K. El Diablo... Please edit your answer to reflect what school would be a better choice. thevillageidiotxxxxx... Please elaborate. NDSU is not a bad team. They are arguably the top D1AA team. I think if they played in the Big 10 west division they would have finished the season 6-6. The Gophers are not a bad team. They have talented players. Their coach leaves a great deal to be desired. Not sure why Glen Mason is still the coach at the U of M...

If there was two divisions then Ohio State might be playing Wisconsin in a week or so. I think this would be a good game.

No, ND'S is a long way from being a Big 10 team. They did dominate in NCAA Div 2, but they are going to have a much harder time of it as a NCAA Div 1 team. Notre Dame would be a much better candidate for the Big 10.

No I believe the Big 10 is right where it needs to be. Why bring in NDSU which has a smaller stadium and would get crushed every year even by teams that are low in the Big 10 such as Indiana, Illiinois, First of all Iowa and Iowa State are already in-state rivals, but ISU has been in Big XII since it started and was in Big 8 for years. Leave the Big 10 where it is at.

NDSU as a team in the Big 10 funny. Some schools make sense to join the Big Ten, some dont.

Notre Dame makes sense, The University of Ohio makes sense, another Pennsylvania school makes sense. A DivIAA team makes no sense.

North Dakota State? They're in their third year of transitioning from Division II to Division 1AA, they are a LONG way from Division 1A and even longer to the Big Ten. Give them 40 years mayble.
I know because NDSU is in my team's (Cal Davis), football conference, the Great West. I saw them play this month.

Not so fast my friend. The big ten is an elite conference, and will not be adding a school such as North Dakota State. Please do not put much focus on NDSU losing to the Gophers by one point. The Gophers are a Horri-awful team who somehow made a bowl game.

No, because North Dakota State is too far west of the region that contains the Big 10 schools. I would say add Iowa State instead because they fit in the region and they could be a cross-state rival of Iowa.

Now this is really a foolish question.

The ONLY team who really makes sense to have in The Big Ten is Notre Dame. Then The Big Ten (it doesn't matter HOW many teams we have; we'll always keep this name) could have a conference championship game.

Notre Dame joining The Big Ten will NOT happen, because joining would make perfect sense, and Notre Dame has not been about that for as long as I've been alive (38 years)

whilst a set would not time table Boise it rather isn't any longer because of the fact they concern them. each and every person needs to pretend like quite a few correct college ought to time table all the different branch champions in the non-convention video games. And for what? no longer something. it would do no longer something to assist them get right into a bowl pastime. Any SEC group can get into the nationwide championship via triumphing each and every pastime they have already got scheduled. Why might they flow out of their thank you to assist Boise out? this is all it does is help Boise. Boise HAS to play champions because of the fact their convention sucks and would not recommend something whilst they win. The SEC, %10, enormous 10, enormous 12 do no longer ought to play outdoors their divisions to get right into a bowl. And BTW, Alabama performed a ranked Penn State this year and a ranked Virginia the year past beginning weekend, and a ranked Clemson the year past beginning weekend.

NO! Lose every game for 10 years! then have a very slim chance to win against the weakest team in any D-1 Football team!
