I'm kinda chubby and I'm trying to lose weight, but I was wondering, does exercise and weight loss help to prevent diabetes? I'm looking for serious answers and I'd love credible links and research if that wouldn't be too much trouble. It just seems so prevalent nowadays, that I want to take the initiative to try and insure that I never get it, but I don't know if there is anything you could do. Will exercise and weightloss work? Thanks. :)

I think I have a tonsil stone stuck in my throat. My left tonsil is enlarged, I constantly taste the smell associated with a tonsil stone in my mouth and I can feel something whenever I swallow. I've had tonsil stones coughed up before but this one seems stuck. It's getting really uncomfortable and disgusting. Can my regular doctor help me or will I need a specialist?

hey i am 16 and i am a junior at my high schooll .. i really really really want science or chemisty to be my future career.. i do not knwo what classes to take and if it is worth it.. i really liek math and science but i am currently struggling in those clases right now.. i havea C in my AP bio class right now .. btu i knwo the material .. i just cannot test well .. i have a strong grade in my math but i cannot bring up my sience.. do u think that i can still have a future in science? or go for my definite job in construction managment.. i am offerd 75000 a year right out of college as a super intendant for my friends dads company .. i cant decide on going construction and working my way iup to senior project manajer, or go into science.. and struggle through college.. but become a pharmacist or something!!! plz help!!

Okay, we had music concert rehearsal for our concert for music class. Our music teacher who is a 38 year old women said, "If you do not coaperate, I can really be a Witch with a capital B." Saying she can be a b*tch, and all of us totally got it. She always tells us to, "Kick butt," when we do our concerts, but this year she said, "Kick a**." We have absolutly no problem with it, but do you think it is or isn't appropriate?

i have a boyfriend then we had this what we call "LQ". he neither talk to me nor glance at me. i hate this feeling. i tried to talk to to him but he just ignore me!!! First off, I've already felt the little bubbly feeling that you get with kicking and I'm wondering if what I'm feeling is stronger kicks now. The kicks come more frequently when I'm laying down for the night and there are a bunch at regular intervals. I can feel it by myself, but I think I can feel it from the outside too. Is it really my little one kicking or am I mistaking it for something else. I'm almost 19 weeks and I started feeling the bubbly feeling around 17 weeks. I know it's not round ligament pains because I have those too (less frequently lately.) The other question is kind of silly, but I wanted to ask anyways since I'm getting wierd looks from previous pregnant women. I feel like a giant balloon has been blown up in my belly and it's making it hard for me to bend over and move around. I kind of feel like it might be pushing on some organs too...is it just me? Thank you for everyone's responses.

Unavoidably, I will be looking for my new home the week of Thanksgiving in Indianapolis. I will be with someone who has food allergies and wishes to eat at a buffet, because of the many choices. Can anyone help me with restaurants hopefully near the Zionsville, Carmel or Northwest Indianapolis areas, that are open on Thanksgiving, and have a buffet style set up? Or restaurants that are a step or two above Family Dining that you know will be open on Thanksgiving. Thank you.
