Unfortunately "Stars" didn't rack up the sales numbers that "Do they know it's Christmas?" did. It was still good to show that there was a metal community and raise awareness. I still have my copy (on vinyl no less).

With the costs that go into production, the time commitment from the artists, schedules, etc., it is highly unlikely that there will ever be another project like that again in any genre of music, but I wouldn't be surprised if the benefit concerts like Live 8 kept coming.

Yup it should be organized again. The united like that is really amazing, can't compare to any other with the same organization. Because all of the member there are the top artist from metal music scene, and Dio as a motor is a genius musician that the world of metal music ever have. He do it with his heart to help people out of their sadness and pain. He do not care about the song is going on top chart or not. So me as a metalhead always put him as a king in my heart.
