e With the concept of a imputed "sin nature" which means everyone sins and falls short of the glory of God. Then this question is readily understood, as humans indeed we do err and by Divine provision we have opportunities to realize our errors and also recognize the provision and function to believe forgiveness is ours by faith. Faith in who? I believe in Jesus Christ..Only by Gods righteousness and Justice do we find the work of Christ to be the only Salvation. It's not what you do, it's what He has done for us!!

All people commit sins and make mistakes. God forgives them, and people are acting in a godlike (divine) way when they forgive. This saying is from “An Essay on Criticism,” by Alexander Pope.
