I was the same bar a couple of weeks on Saturdays. I was sitting at the bar (as I came alone and didn't know any one there). One of the bartenders was trying to flirt with me both times. She had memorized my drink the second time and didn't charge for the first round. Was high-fiving me when her fav. songs were being played. Do bartenders generally do this just to get extra tips or was she hitting on me? I wanted to ask her out, but was a little hesitant because this is totally unchartered waters for me.

By the way, I did tip her, but only the normal amount I always do

Just wait a second and hear me out.

Why don't we see more of it in the US?
This is especially curious since we are the MAIN target.
Anyone who's ever flown a model rocket as a kid has all the skills necessary to build a pipe bomb. One trip to Walmart will provide them with all the hardware.
Just think of the terror that could be inflicted if one of these nuts planted pipe bombs in a few malls or college football games.
What about electrical substations throughout the nation these are only protected by rusty 30 year old fencing.

This leads me to a few conclusions:

1. Either it is blown WAY out of proportion and is a means for the government to scare and control us.

2 Or it is real and we are living in a 1984 type scenario where the govt. tracks us so closely that they could neutralize any such plan before it happens.

When we do have scriptural evidence to back up our beliefs.

Example: Communion

We believe that the bread and wine are physically changed to the body and blood of Jesus. Why? Because Jesus said, "Take this all of you, and eat it, this IS my blood." Jesus would not have said "is" if it weren't true. This line is said in 3 of the 4 Gospels.

Honoring Mary:

We don't WORSHIP the Virgin Mary. We worship God, but we honor Mary as the mother of all Christians. We ask her to pray for us, much like you would ask a friend to pray for you. Jesus states to one of the Apostles that Mary was his mother, and to take care of her. Also, in Revelation, Mary was mentioned as a women clothed in the sun, with the moon under her feet, and a crown of twelve stars (she's in the sky).

Sacraments:

Many of our other sacraments are biblically referenced. Like the "Annointing of the sick". James says that we should call the priests of the church to "annoint them with oil"

Im a good kid i have my bad side but i try not to show it. Ive been i love with my friend for 2 years and we are close, we get into big fights and we reconcile almost all the time, i am not sure is hes straight or gay; i think hes gay, but still im not sure what to do. I decided a while ago that i would not tell him about my love for him but instead be friends wth him. Even though we are friends i dont think he thinks of me as a best friend like i think of him.
