I've been going out with a girl named Brooke for almost two weeks, and we've kissed once. I don't really want anything out of the relationship, I just like being with her, but she doesn't seem to trust me. She says she can't say she loves anyone because she's afraid they'll hurt her. How can I get her to trust me???

EDIT- When I said that I didn't want anything out of the relationship, I meant in the way that I didn't ONLY want sex like a lot of her ex's. That's why she's broken up with them.

First of all, how can she trust you if you just said that you don't want anything out of the relationship? That's like going to the mall and you know you wear a shoe that's a size 10 but you want to look cute and buy shoes that are a size 8! It doesn't fit and its a waste of time and money! If you want her to trust you. Tell her something and then do it. That always helps.

Maybe she senses that you don't want anything out of the relationship and that is why she does not feel to trust you. Try being a good friend and the trust will be there and grow with the relationship.

open communication builds trust. You have to be able to talk to her about everything or anything at any given time without holding back anything and she has to be able to do the same with you too.

Once you can talk about everything no matter what, you have to be a genuine friend to her too. This means wanting the very best for her and always wanting her happiness to come first no matter what. NEVER ask anything from her either. You have to make sure that you have this too then she will never have to worry if anyone else will hurt her because she talks with you or is with you.

First of all it has only been 2 weeks. When you hit like 6 months if she hasn't said she loves you then there is a problem. Don't push her. Just listen when she talks and don't lie to her!!!!! Try to get her to talk about how other guys have hurt her and don't do what they did lol. That is pretty easy.

Trust has to be earned, it's not an automatic thing. Be there for her, never tell her secrets to anyone, don't turn your back on her when she needs to talk to someone, and actually *listen* when she does talk. Don't lie to her, don't say cruel things to her. Trust takes a lot of maturity to handle.

Well, I doubt she is ready to say she loves you even if she did trust you, because, my goodness...you have been dating two weeks. But, to get her to trust you, give her time...let her get to know you better. Don't do anything stupid. Don't EVER lie....once you do it, the trust is 5 million times harder to get back, if you ever earn it back at all.

If you don't want anything more from this relationship then don't bother trying to gain her trust. Then you'll make her think you want more and she'll get hurt.

If you think she wants more from this relationship and you don't - then for her sake break it off!

well trust takes time especially when the person is so scared they wont kissu more than once.the only thing u can do is listen to her do what she asks and hope she lets u in soon .if not u have to decide how much u like her and if it is worth it.

Don't give her any excuse to not trust you.. if you continue to be faithful and honest with Brooke, she will eventually trust you..she would have no reason not to! It will come in time!
