Personally I think this is just different ways of God leading people back to Him. Some people are more comfortable with the Protestant outlook, while others prefer the Catholic style, for example. In other words, ALL churches are part of Christ's Mystical Body (Yep, I'm a Catholic). What do YOU think?

I've had a girlfriend for a little more than 1 month. And i really liked her. One day, i told her i loved her, and she didn't respond. I told her that i couldnt make her say something she wouldn't really mean. About a week later passed and during school she approached me, saying what i told her during that day. And it was over. About 2 weeks passed, and i'm still not over her. Yeah, i know i have to get over her, but it's hard. i really liked her. she has these away messages. for example:

(i dont know where i stand with you ,
i don't know what i mean to you all i
know is that everytime i see you, all
i want to do is, ---»[ Be with you ]<3 )

and

he's got the smile i fell in love with & the arms i wanna be held in so i guess you could say hes a little more than just amazing *

i just want to clarify if it's meant for another guy or myself.

I think the fact that we in the U.S.A. are guaranteed freedom of expression is a beautiful thing, and that a burning flag is probably the most extreme representation of that freedom under any government.

In this context, doesn't that make flag burning a rather stupid thing for someone who DOESN'T like the U.S.A. to do? If flag burning is banned, then won't it BECOME an anti-U.S.A. gesture?

I always thought anyone who burned a flag in anything other than celebration of American Freedom was undermining their own argument in the act!

I've never burned an American flag before, but I would do it in celebration since it is legal.
If it were banned, then I would do it in protest.

Also, isn't that the only respectful way to dispose of an old flag? You aren't supposed to throw them away...

I feel troubled lately. I cannot focus in school and I just don't understand what is going on in some of my classes. I don't know if it's my intellgence, my confidence, my laziness, my anger, my thoughts that's getting in the way of my school work. Help!! I think this happens to me right after midterms. My grades are very good by the way. I'm a hard worker. I just lose complete focus and things that bothered me before, irritate me even more. I don't have stress. What's wrong with me? He was in the hospital about 4 yrs ago and almost died. When he went in to the ER, he put my name down as person to notify, so when his condition became critical, I called his son and notified him he was in bad shape. He was in a medically induced coma for about 3 weeks and nearly dead.
His kids went crazy and locked me out of his house, and marked my name off the papers at the hospital and put their own names down. I didnt have a say in anything. I am a RN and work in a hospital. I still look at them with total disqust, because of the way they treated me. When he came home from the hospital, I drove him in my car. It was a 2 hour trip and his kids didnt even come over to check on him for weeks. I had the pleasure of breaking into his house when I brought him home because he was too weak to get us in.
I do not live with him. My house is 2 blocks away. I think the kids are out to get rid of me and are money hungry. Why doesnt he ask them to take him to the hospital?
