How can I ignore them, if they are hurting me?
This question I think the world must ask of each other...its kinda big and not easy.

The hard part is asking them to value you as somthing other than someone who may become like them, thus to be valued becuase you might be worthy in the future of concern.

You just ask them not to. Whether or not they honor your wishes is up to them. If you find that you are denied, you don't need to feel alone. The God of us all is denied more often and more vehemently than we. Look to him for strength, guidance, and mercy. Seek your worth is his eyes alone, and what others say and do to and about you will matter so little you'll be amazed.

If it were family or friends, I would just say, "Listen up, I have something to say. Do not discard me and what I say like it is meaningless." I listen to you, so why can't you listen to me."

If it wasn't family and someone I didn't really care about, I would just quit speaking with them.

Your religion like your sexuality is a personal choice and private. Keep it to yourself. On no occassion is it polite to impose your religious belief on others.
