like as if its a color code...

caucasians - white
african-americans - black
mexicans/latinos - brown
asians - yellow
native americans - red

isnt it kind of ironic to say those colors instead of their ethnicities?

That's what wars are for, aren't they? For trying to get things that you don't have? Aside from accomplishing your main mission, there's nothing wrong with picking up perks along the way.

Civil War - Union boys fight to keep the Confederacy a piece of the US, and in the meantime free the slaves (the war was NOT about slavery)
World War II - America retaliates from the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and later on saves the world from Hitler and ends the Great Depression

Iraq War - America is fighting to establish a democratic government in a breeding ground for terrorists to try to make the world safer, and in the process some corporations are getting a few extra bucks.

What's wrong with that?

(If you think my way of thinking is uneducated (which I'm sure is bound to happen in an issue as touchy as this), say so in a manner that's informative and constructive, not insulting.)

Last year on Christmas eve I lost my son to divorce. He was taken away by his father and I have not been able to see him since because I had to move away. Before that I was a full time stay at home mom. I don't have much money, but I am working on getting a lawyer to change the custody agreement, I don't even get to see him for holidays, I can only talk to him on the phone, he's four. The only reason I lost him was because I had no money to fight my ex in court.
Until I can find a lawyer I need to help myself get out of this depression. I miss my son so much. It feels like he died. I talk to him on the phone and I can't stop crying. I cry at least 2 hours everyday, but it is usually more, especially at night. I hate myself so much for losing my son. I hate myself for not being able to fight for him. I don't have any insurance to go to therepy, and my household makes too much money for government support. I need a support group or some one proffesional to talk to. Any advice would help

Look at the recent suicide cases. Although unemployment rate has gone down, salaries remained stagnant & workload increased. Not to mention the ever rising cost of living & the risk of retrenchment. Also not to forget the sharp increase of divorces & broken families caused by financial problems & the high work commitment of parents. Retirement age is also going up year after year. Is there any solution to all of these madness?

By good conversation, I mean: where are they politically, religiously, spiritually, emotionally? What are their goals and ambitions? Where are they on the marriage issue, equal rights, adoption? Are they involved in charity work? What sort of job do they have? How do they get along with their family? Where are they from originally? What was it like going to school for them? What sort of educationm do they have? Listen and observe, you might be shocked to discover they're just like you. (Well almost.)
