I'm not sure if it could have anything to do with the "evolution" of blondes. It's said that cavemen sought after brunettes, so blondes were created to lure the cavemen away from the common darker haired woman. I thought that was an interesting fact.

No, brunettes are taking over. Blondes are, indeed, an endangered species as are redheads.
If you understand basic genetics that you understand the relationship between dominate and recessive genes. Blonde is a recessive gene that is taken over when there is a brunnette allele present.

The majority of people on this planet are dark haired and eyed. As the world becomes the big melting pot of ethnic groups we will all look similar. I think its great, people with multiple (meaning like 5 or more) ethnic backgrounds are beautiful
