I'd maybe go back to Greece in the time of the natural philosophers , go back with information abut evolution, relativity, big bang, matter and consciousness, electricity, and the scientific method.

Why would I choose to live in some other time than what I am living in now? I happen to believe that the CREATOR chose my time and place in this grand scheme of things and if I had my choice to live in some other era I would surely screw that up and choose the wrong time.
I believe we are all living in exactly the time and place we should be. I also believe we have all lived in other times and places and we all get that strange feeling we have lived here before. Isn't that called DeJaVu??
Anyway, we should all be happy in our own time and place because that's all we have right?

The fiftys and sixties because everything was happening then. The war was over in 1945, rationing ended in 1955? and everyone started to enjoy life. If you meant a different time century then it would be the 16th Century when Elizabeth 1 came to the throne, and I would have been a Sailor or adventurer.

The American Civil War.
I have always had a fascination with the period, and grew up in what I refer to as Civil War Central. I ewnt to high school in a location in Northern Va where I could drive to a very great number of major an influential battlefields within 2 hours.

I wish I could live in the 22nd century---free of war, poverty, hunger, and all of the "isms" present today.
