my work visa expires on 30th Nov and I plan to leave the UK on 8th Dec. will this be a problem/issue at any point? Whom can i contact at the Home Office to get a written okay of this situation in case someone questions me.

[Have you ever wondered how water can be in three different forms, with different characteristics, and still be water? Science shows that water can be in the form of a liquid, solid and gas, each having different characteristics & different purposes, but each being fully water and equally water.
The same is true with the Trinity. There is ONE God who eternally exists in THREE persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, all of whom are fully God, all of whom are equal. Each person of the trinity has different characteristics about Himself & different purposes in the roles and in how they relate and communicate to us on earth.]

You might think me weird for relating God to water, but it helped me understand the Trinity a little more

Okay. I know I asked this yesterday, but I would like to rephrase it because I think some people got the wrong impression. I'm not gonna attack the girl; I just would really like to get to know her. That said...

There is a beautiful girl living down the hall from me. She seems wonderful, and I want her, kinda bad. The problem is that the only time I see her is in passing. She's always on her way out, or I'm on my way out. I've tried to start small talk, but she never makes eye contact. (Maybe I'm just reading into it, but her shyness is kinda like when you're shy about being around a crush. She talks to everyone else normally, but when I try to talk to her, I get these little flutters of words.) I have done nothing to give her the impression that I like her, I talk to her like I would anyone I want to be friends with, and still, she looks at the floor and won't let me be nice. I wish I could just talk to her.

what do you call your friends?
I'm Japanese learning English.
A friend of mine calls me' my boy' what exactly does it mean?
Sometimes he also calls me' my man'
I always tend to translate English into Japanese. I know it is a bad habit. but when I hear 'my' , it seems like possession.......
So my question, 'my boy' 'my man'= friend?
And what do you call your friends instead of saying their names. especially close friends. It would be a good learning chance here for me. thanks in advance.

Backing up a data file weekly to a portable hard drive. I do not want to overwrite the file each week. So I'm trying to modify the filename to include the current date as part of the filename. The batch file to do the backup is fine, just need a way to modify the name of the created file.

I am in a 4-yr relationship with my boyfriend and we have been living together for the last 2 years. However, I still see myself looking over singles' profiles in the Internet with the hope of seeing and meeting interesting people. My boyfriend caught me 'browsing' one time and I felt awfully bad because he was hurt wondering why I was still doing it. As I probed deeper today, I realized I may just be wanting to rekindle what it felt like to 'flirt' again and be excited in a relationship. My boyfriend and I are good and I think he's a wonderful man, but oftentimes I feel there is no longer any spark and we're just immersed in our own respective work. I know, too, that what I did was immature, but do my feelings justify my action? Am I a bad person? What can I do to keep myself from doing it again?

i realize that everyone is self-centered to a point, but i have a friend who is very much all about herself. she has pissed off all of her friends.. ALL of them, since getting a boyfriend who is a total wet blanket. she started dating him 4 months ago, and all of her friends have told her how much she has changed, but she just hears that she is pushing her friends away, but she still just goes futher into her new boyfriends shadow, and we have no hope of getting her to see reality.
her boyfriend is "different", shall we say from all of us, we do things (partying) that he doesn't see any need for, in his life, which i completely respect.
however, i am having a hard time respecting my friends choices. its like they are from two different worlds but she doesn't see how that pushes us out. is there any hope? general rules give her a couple months to get over this crap-- its been FOUR!
if the changes are permanent than i think i am going to eventually lose my "best friend".advice?
